State supports capital for construction of roadlinking Sapa to Noi Bai-Lao Cai highway

(VNF) - Prime Minister (PM) Nguyen Tan Dung has agreed in principle to the State’s financial support to build a junction road from the Noi Bai – Lao Cai highway to Sa Pa town in the form of BOT (Build-Operate-Transfer).

He asked the Lao Cai provincial People’s Committee to sign and realize the contract of the project under his direction at document No 510 / TTg-KTN.

The organ was assigned to be responsible for establishment of the financial plan as a foundation to calculate State’s financial support and to coordinate with relevant agencies to undertake the projects in accordance with current regulations on BOT investment.

The PM urged the Ministry of Planning and Investment to host and associate with the Ministry of Finance to determine funding support for Lao Cai province and appraise the capital according to current regulations./.
