Tra Vinh intensifies studying and following ideology, morality and style of President Ho Chi Minh

The Standing Board of Tra Vinh provincial Party Committee has summarized the five-year implementation of Directive 03 of the Politburo (term XI), dated May 14th, 2011, on continuing to intensify the studying and following of the moral example of President Ho Chi Minh and implementing Directive 05 of the Politburo (term XII) on enhancing studying and following of ideology, morality and style of President Ho Chi Minh.

Over the past five years, party executive committees at all levels in Tra Vinh focused on building, checking and raising moral standards for officials, party member and civil servants; combining the implementation of Resolution of the 4th PCC meeting (term XI) on some urgent Party building issues; bringing the studying and following President Ho Chi Minh as regular activities of party organizations, unions and state administrative management agencies; and popularizing the ideology, morality and style of the president on mass media.

The results of studying and following President Ho Chi Minh helped Tra Vinh continue to develop social and economic issues, transfer economic structure at the right direction, increase per capita income from VND14.9 million in 2010 to VND34 million in 2015, and reduce poverty rate from 23.63% in 2011 to 7.66% in 2015, and stably maintain politics and social order and safety.

On this occasion, the Tra Vinh provincial People’s Committee commended 93 teams and 124 inpiduals with outstanding performance in studying and following President Ho Chi Minh and presented certificates of merit of the Prime Minister to six teams and four inpiduals.

In his speech at the ceremony, Mr. Tran Tri Dung, PCC member and Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, asked the executive committee of the provincial Party Committee to raise their responsibility and set an example in building and implementing plans to follow President Ho Chi Minh.

He also urged bringing the studying and following the ideology, morality and style of President Ho Chi Minh into teaching programs in political schools, universities, colleges and vocational schools./.
