Traffic police sets good example of kind act
(VNF) – A video featuring a young police riding a bicycle to carry an elderly home has been widely shared on many social network recently, since it captures a gracious gesture.

The kind-hearted police in the clip was Senior Lieutenant Nguyen Van Chinh. In the afternoon of Feb 28, a 80-year-old man stopped by Xa Dan traffice station (Dong Da district), where Chinh was working and seeked help. The man said he was too exhausted to continue riding his bike.
Chinh immediately invited the man to have a rest in the station, and offered him food and drink. The traffic police afterwards requested to offer the old man a ride home, since he told the Chinh that his house was only 100 meters from the traffic station.
The image of a traffic police carrying an elderly on a small bike caught the attention of commuters, and were captured by them via smart phones.
While he was riding, Chinh noticed that the old man actually could not remember his way home.
Fortunately, the police found the old man's home address attached to the bike. Chinh immediatly contacted them via phone call, and soon assisted the old man reach home safely.
When being interviewed about what he has done, Chinh was very humble. According to him, that was a simple gesture that everyone, in his case, would do.

"I am very surprised to know many people pay attention to what I did," he said.
The gracious act of Nguyen Van Chinh has left a positive impression on people’s mind.
Earlier, traffic police in several localities in Vietnam such as Hanoi, Da Nang have received compliments for their voluntary supports for people in need, such as helping old people cross crowded streets, returning lost properties to owners, assisting victims of accidents, etc ./.
