Coming to these training sessions, teachers have learned about the program content related to life skills and mentoring skills for girls based on age and grade (from sixth to twelfth grade). These training classes are organized in a way that encouraged teachers to share experiences and knowledge with each other and the program staff, which helped classes are always lively and full of inspiration.
In the upcoming school year, the teachers will apply this newly learned knowledge to lessons and counseling for girls. Therefore, training is the essential “backbone” of Girls’ Education Program to create change for girls, and we are very grateful to have enthusiastic teachers who participated, spending their summers with Room to Read.
Room to Read is a leading non-profit focused on girls' education and children's literacy in Asia and Africa.
