UK Education Exhibition 2017: A 360-degree view of studying in UK
(VNF) - The UK Education Exhibition taking place in Hanoi on Mar 11th brought together representatives of over 30 highschools, universities and colleges from the United Kingdom (UK).
The multi-in-one program brought to students, parents and education experts paranomic views of the UK education through three sessions: education counselling, seminar & sharing corner and games on British culture.
During the exhibition, prospective students received answers for every inquiry they had including admission requirements, courses and subjects, life in UK as a student, for all level of learning, from pre-university to postgraduate.
Specially, for those who have already made up their mind of applying to a particular school, application can be completed on-spot, under the instruction of the school's admission officers.
In addition, information regarding British qualification programmes in Vietnam was also available for those who wish to experience the world leading education right in their home country.
Remarkably, all information offered at the education exhibition are first-hand updates from representatives of UK's institutions.
Also in the program, the British Council and the British Embassy in Hanoi jointly conducted several seminars and conferences, specially chaired by the ‘insiders’.
Useful information about visa procedures, career opportunities and personal finance management while study in the UK were respectively brought to the participants by Deputy Ambassador of the UK to Vietnam Steph Lysaght, Dr. James Watson (University of East Anglia) and the 'living book' - successful UK alumni.
The UK education exhibition 2017 was perceived as a highly interactive and creative program, since latest social network platform was optimized to reach out to the public.
Two months prior to the official event, the announcement was already published, and registration was open online.
Even those could not attend the exhibition can get involved via the event pictures, notes which were updated within minutes and all seminars which were made available to public via facebook livestream.
Besides, the exhibition brought to participants lots of chances to test their knowledges about the Great Britain via interesting quizz games, which presented lovely gifts for those who got it right.
In addition to benefiting Vietnamese students, the UK Education Exhibition 2017 created a favorable platform which keeps British schools updated with the trend of demand, preference and background of prospective students.
Apart from Hanoi, the UK Education Exhibition was also available to public in Hai Phong city (Mar 9) and Ho Chi Minh city (Mar 12)./.
