ULIS and Spanish University discuss cooperation prospect
The University of Language and International Studies – Vietnam National University (VNU) recently held a working meeting with Complutense University of Madrid, Spain, to discuss cooperation prospect.

At the meeting, Vice Rector of ULIS Ngo Minh Thuy briefed the delegates on ULIS’s history of Spanish teaching, expressing the willingness to listen to the ideas of Complutense University representatives on fostering Spanish teaching in ULIS, particularly via establishing partnership to facilitating ULIS students’ study in Spain.
Representatives of Complutense University, for their part, shared with ULIS on their cooperation with universities in Asia and voiced their interest in cooperating with ULIS in academic fields, particularly sending lecturers to ULIS to assist the school with teaching work.
The two institutions also discussed issues related to prospective student exchange such as the living condition, host country’s legal procedures in order to outline appropriate roadmap for cooperation program in the future.
The Complutense University of Madrid is a public research university located in Madrid, and one of the oldest universities in the world. The university enrolls over 86,000 students and consistently ranking as one of the top universities in Spain. According to the Spanish newspaper El Mundo, the university is widely regarded as the most prestigious academic institution in Spain./.
