UNDP Aids Can Tho's Efforts to Revive Rivers
UNDP, The Ocean Cleanup, local partners, including the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, the Can Tho Department of Natural Resources and Environment, and waste collection volunteers, will organize the "Green Heroes, Clean Tech" Programme from 18 to 20 September 2024, aim to raise awareness and promote clean technology solutions to reduce and treat plastic waste, contributing to protecting the environment and public health. It also aims to unite changemakers from various parts of society to promote behavior change in the plastics industry, and support policies to stop plastic pollution at the source.
