In his status, Maduro affirmed that President Ho Chi Minh was the founder of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam and created the country’s independence.
He recalled the day in 1945 at the Ba Dinh Square, the late President read the Declaration of Independence founding the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, with the determination to build a socialist nation.
President Ho then led the Vietnamese people to triumph over French colonists and US imperialists.
National reunification was the burning desire of President Ho Chi Minh and the Vietnamese people, Manduro wrote, adding that thanks to President Ho Chi Minh’s military doctrine of the all-people war, the Vietnamese people struggled against the most modern weapons and military tactics of the US army.
As a communist poet, President Ho Chi Minh inspired the Vietnamese nation to fight the most powerful and devastating military empire with a brave spirit for the self determination of the nation, Madura concluded./.
