Vietnam always creates favorable conditions for SOS Children’s Villages

Deputy PM welcomes Mr. Siddahartha Kaul and his delegation to visit and work in Vietnam. Deputy PM highly appreciated the cooperation and funding of SOS Children's Villages International in Vietnam for the past 30 years in caring for, nurturing and educating children in need of protection.
On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of SOS Children’s Village Vietnam, on behalf of the Government of Vietnam, the Deputy Prime Minister sincerely thanked the Board and staff of SOS Children's Villages International for their contribution to the development of SOS Children's Village Vietnam. The Deputy PM also thanked donors around the world for their contribution to the care of Vietnamese orphans for the last 30 years.
Deputy PM said that Viet Nam always attaches great importance to cooperative relations with SOS Children's Villages International, always create favorable conditions for them to operate well.
According to Deputy Prime Minister, it needs a new approach in coordination between the two sides for the upcoming projects. The PM asked the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs to build a schedule to increase the contribution of the Vietnamese side from various sources, including the mobilization of resources from donors.
After 30 years of operation, SOS International Children's Village has sponsored Vietnam nearly 120 million USD. The number of mothers, aunts, staff, teachers and staff working in SOS Children's Village is 1,300.
