Speaking at the ceremony, member of the Party Central Committee (PCC) and Head of the PCC Commission for External Relations Hoang Binh Quan highly valued the fine relations between Vietnam and France and expressed his hope for a cooperative and developmental future of the two countries.
Emphasising that 2018 is a very important year for the two countries, the Vietnamese official said he believed that the two countries’ time-honoured relations would continue to create opportunities for Vietnam and France to promote exchanges and develop relations in all areas.
For his part, the French Minister of State Jean-Baptiste Lemoyne said the 45th founding anniversary of Vietnam-France diplomatic relations is a milestone in the bilateral ties.
In the coming time, the two countries should further strengthen their diplomatic, economic, commercial, educational and investment activities, including the early completion of cooperative projects in Vietnam such as the Hanoi's urban railway route No 3, and the French Institute in Ho Chi Minh City, he added./.
