Vietnam ranked 95th world’s happiest country
VNF - Finland has overtaken Norway as the happiest country in the world in the UN’ 2018 World Happiness Report. Vietnam ranked 95th.

The European country jumped from fifth place last year to the top, followed by neighboring Norway, Denmark and Iceland. Prior to that, Finland was also rated the world's most stable, secure and operating country in the world, or the country with the least corruption, the most trusted police and the strongest bank.
The World Happiness Report is an annual publication of the United Nations Sustainable Development Solutions Network based on Gallup polls of self-reported wellbeing, as well as perceptions of corruption, generosity and freedom.
The top five countries receive high scores for income, life expectancy, social support, freedom, trust and generosity. Among the 10 happiest countries in the world are Switzerland, the Netherlands, Canada, New Zealand, Sweden and Australia.
For the first time the UN also examined the happiness levels of immigrants in each country, and found Finland also scored highest.
“That Finland is the top scorer is remarkable,” said Meik Wiking of the Happiness Research Institute in Denmark. “GDP per capita in Finland is lower than its neighbouring Nordic countries and is much lower than that of the US. The Finns are good at converting wealth into wellbeing.
Meanwhile, the United States has slipped to 18th place, five places down on 2016.
Vietnam ranked 95th in the report, down one place compared to last year.
