Vietnam strongly condemns bomb attack in southern Philippines
Vietnam strongly condemns those behind a bomb blast targeting a night market in southern Philippines that killed and injured many civilians, and believes that they will be strictly punished.

The statement was made by Foreign Ministry Spokesman Le Hai Binh on September 4th when answering reporters’ question on Vietnam’s response to the bomb blast.
“Vietnam extends deep sympathies to the families of victims and hopes that the Philippine Government and people as well as the victims’ relatives will soon overcome difficulties to stabilize their lives,” Mr. Binh said.
Mayor of the Philippines’s Davao city Sara Duterte on September 3th accused the Abu Sayyaf, a notorious group of Islamic militants, of the bomb attack. The September 2nd bomb blast took the lives of at least 14 people and injured 70 others./.
