Vietnamese Goods in Thailand Fair 2017 to open in Bangkok
at Central Plaza Ladprao Bangkok in the Thai capital.
The event, the second one of its kind, aims to enhance the export of Vietnamese products to other countries in the region and the world and, in particular, lift up the position of Vietnamese products in Thailand.

The fair will open from July 27 to August 2 at Central Plaza Ladprao Bangkok, one of the largest complexes in the Thai capital of Bangkok.
The Vietnamese Goods in Thailand Fair 2017 will feature made-in-Vietnam products including pottery, lacquer, silk, and wooden furniture as well as Vietnamese specialties such as dragon fruits, lychee and processed food.
Traditional dishes including noodles (phở) and grilled rolls (nem lụi) will be available for fans of Vietnamese food who visit the fair.
Besides, arts performance including Vietnamese songs and dance will also be featured at the event.
In the first Vietnamese Goods in Thailand Fair held in 2016, 140 Vietnamese-made products were introduced to Thailand consumers and enterprises.
In the event, the Vietnamese pavilion impressed visitors with the charming image of Ao dai, conical leaf hat and basket boat.
Vietnamese brands such as, Minh Long ceramics, Saigon beer, Bich Chi food, Hoa Tho textiles, Tam Lan tea, and Highlands coffee were warmly received by Thai consumers, reflecting vast potentials of made-in-Vietnam products in Thailand.
Vietnam-Thailand bilateral trade has grown by more than 40 per cent over the last five years, hitting nearly $13 billion last year.
At the moment, a target of $20 billion in two-way trade by 2020 has been set./.
