Vietnamese students bags gold medal of international innovation competition
All of the 7 projects of the Vietnamese team participating in the IEYI 2018 in India has won medals. Remarkably, the achievement includes a gold medal, awarding for the project on observing and testing the quality of water in aquacultural environment by the Vietnam National University's contestant.

The event was held in New Delhi, India, from October 17 to 20, attracting over 350 young innovators from 14 countries and territories, including Thailand, Indonesia, Russia, Vietnam, China, Taiwan, Sri Lanka, Japan, Singapore, India.
This is the 14th season of the competition, introducing over innovation 110 projects.
In addition to the awards decided by the judges, the Vietnamese team also received 2 distinguished awards nominated by the competition’s participants.
International Exhibition for Young Inventors (IEYI) was started in 2004 to celebrate the 100 th anniversary of the founding of Japan Institute of Invention and Innovation (JIII).
IEYI 2018 was organised by the Foundation for Global Science Initiatives (FGSI), and took place on October 17-21 to showcase remarkable inventions from 6-19 years old students from around the world, and award those with excellent ideas./.
