VNU's first English Accounting Bachelor program accredited by CPA Australia
(VNF) - The modules in the Accounting, Analyzing and Auditing issued by the Hanoi National University (VNU) will be accredited by the Chartered Professional Accountants (CPA) Australia, starting January 1, 2018.
The world’s biggest professional body of accounting has conducted a meticulous assessment process before giving the accreditation to the Accounting, Analyzing and Auditing of the International School, VNU.

Students of the Accounting, Analyzing and Auditing program in VNU will only need to take 6 modules for the CPA certificate (source: VNU)
The accreditation means that from 2018 on, students majoring in Accounting, Analyzing and Auditing in the college will be exempted from 6 foundation modules required by CPA Australia to obtain the CPA certificate (totally 12 modules).
Earlier, the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) gave accredittation to the Business (Accounting) joint programme between the International School of VNU and HELP University, (Malaysia), giving the students 9 exempted modules when pursuing ACCA certificate.
The International School of VNU and CPA Australia has formed partnership since 2008. Since then, they have deployed effective collaboration. The joint activities and projects by CPA and the International School has benefited students in both academic and employment prospect.
The CPA Australia is currently one of the largest professional accounting bodies in the world with more than 160.000 members working in 118 nations. The primary services given by the members include: education, training, knowledge exchange, professional work assistance, connecting and counseling.
The CPA Australia has been in operation for 130 years. Its number of members has reached 25,000. CPA members are holding significant leadership positions worldwide, such as chief executive officer or chief financial officer./.
