(VNF) - "The spirit of the country founding father Uncle Ho still lingers on, in his gardens. Different kinds of flowers from regions far away are brought together to bloom and spread their sweet fragrances around, reminding us of the President’s devotion to the country…”

The dedicated lyric together with soothing melody of the song “Flowers in Uncle Ho’s garden” composed by musician Van Dung, have long captured the heart of music lovers across Vietnam.

"Flowers in Uncle Ho's garden" reminds Vietnamese people of preserving the precious virtues: the selfless spirit, integrity, diligence, unwavering dedication to the country's development, following Uncle Ho’s moral values. Each person and each region should be a “beautiful flower” in the country’s garden, the song says.

The flower mentioned in the song is not only a symbolic object, but they really exist in Uncle Ho's real life. When he was alive, the respected leader of Vietnam had a special love for nature. Instead of opting for an extravagant residence, he chose to live in a simple wooden stilt house, amidst a lush garden. A variety of fruits trees, vibrant flowers are all found there. Wandering amidst the shady green corner, cultivating trees, or feeding the gold fish were what the first president of Vietnam loved to do for relaxation.

Uncle Ho has passed away for decades, but the image of the respected president who dedicatedly took care of every tree and plant in his own garden will never be faded in the heart of Vietnamese people.

Nowadays, visitors who pay tribute to Uncle Ho's final resting place - his mausoleum in Hanoi or the house where he was born and grew up in Nghe An province, still can see the beautiful flowers in his gardens and feel his presence here and there./.
