Over the past time, studying and following President Ho Chi Minh’s ethical example has spread and been connected with emulation movements.
Women in the city have made great efforts to work and study, and to care for happy families which are not poor, do not violate laws or be involved in social evils, do not report domestic violence, do not have third child, and do not have ill-nourished children or those dropping out of school.
They have also joined actively in protecting the environment, and practised good characteristics of women.
A wide range of creative and feasible models have been discovered, including assisting the lives of lonely elderly persons and poor pupils, saving power and water, collecting waste for re-use, and assisting each other in using facilities, machines, devices and domestic utilities.
Humanitarian and charitable activities have also reached members of the city Women’s Union, as well as women and people in natural disaster-affected regions.
During the ceremony, 31 collectives and 64 inpiduals recognised as excellent followers of President Ho Chi Minh’s ethical example were honoured and awarded./.
