(VNF) - The 11th ASEAN CIO|CSO Awards 2015 (Chief Information Officer and Chief Security Officer) organized by International Data Group (IDG) was held in Hanoi on September 16th.

With 10 consecutive years of successful organization, CIO|CSO 2015 Summit & Awards has become an important annual event as well as one of the most prestigious events in the region, gathering most brilliant and representative IT leaders.

Under the theme “CIO challenges: Transforming the organization to leverage disruptive technologies”, participants gathered a half-day of learning, peer-to-peer sharing and exploring the latest IT and business trends as well as best suited strategic solutions that help shape and benefit business for driving best IT initiatives in the right decision for the upcoming years.

Besides, the CIO|CSO Awards looks for and honors outstanding inpiduals in the ASEAN who are responsible for information management and security in order to ensure business continuity, minimize business risks and maximize business opportunities in the enterprises, governmental and civic organizations. This year, jury panel honored 24 outstanding inpiduals, 13 of which are Vietnamese.

So far, 200 CIOs and CSOs in ASEAN have received Awards./.
