200 Scholarships for Vietnamese Students in Hungary 2025

The Ministry of Education and Training has announced a scholarship program for Vietnamese students to study in Hungary under the 2025 Bilateral Agreement. The Hungarian Government will provide up to 200 scholarships for Vietnamese citizens to pursue undergraduate, integrated master's, master's, and doctoral degrees in Hungary.

Specifically, the Hungarian Government will offer up to 200 scholarships for Vietnamese students to study in Hungary in Hungarian or English.

Priority fields include: Science and Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, Semiconductors, Data Science, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Education, Economics, Medical and Health Sciences, Agriculture, Natural Sciences, Arts, Social Sciences and Humanities, Law, Architecture, Veterinary Medicine, and Sports Sciences.

The duration of the undergraduate program is 3-4 years; master's degree is 1.5-2 years; master's degree from university is 5-6 years; doctorate is 4 years.

The scholarships cover tuition fees, research expenses, health insurance, accommodation, and living allowances as per Hungarian regulations. Of the 200 scholarships, up to 100 recipients may also receive additional support from the Vietnamese Government, which includes round-trip airfare, travel expenses, passport and visa fees, and living allowances as per current policies.

Applicants for undergraduate and integrated master’s programs must be born before September 1, 2007 (except for applicants in the field of dance). Applicants for master’s, doctoral, and short-term programs must not exceed 40 years of age as of January 15, 2025.
