Ho Chi Minh city will organise Online Shopping Day on August 29th, reported the municipal Department of Industry and Trade on August 25th.

The action aims to respond the Ministry of Industry and Trade’s Autumn Online Shopping Day on August 28th.

21 businesses to join HCM city Online Shopping Day

Currently, 21 businesses registered for their participation in the event, said Deputy Director of the Department of Industry and Trade, Tran Vinh Nhung. The businesses will offer discounts on high-quality products with ensured origins. The department also selected promotional programmes from credit businesses in the e-commerce field.

The department said that it planned to organise annual online shopping activities for e-commerce businesses in the city in the Lunar New Year and National Reunification Day (April 30th). Specifically, an online shopping week will be held from January 18th to 24th, 2016 (from the 9th to 15th day of lunar December).
