Ho Chi Minh city will organise Online Shopping Day on August 29^th, reported the municipal Department of Industry and Trade on August 25^th.

The action aims to respond the Ministry of Industry and Trade’s Autumn Online Shopping Day on August 28^th.

Currently, 21 businesses registered for their participation in the event, said Deputy Director of the Department of Industry and Trade, Tran Vinh Nhung. The businesses will offer discounts on high-quality products with ensured origins. The department also selected promotional programmes from credit businesses in the e-commerce field.

The department said that it planned to organise annual online shopping activities for e-commerce businesses in the city in the Lunar New Year and National Reunification Day (April 30^th). Specifically, an online shopping week will be held from January 18^th to 24^th, 2016 (from the 9^th to 15^th day of lunar December).
