63 Vietnamese Soldiers Prepare to Set Off to South Sudan

63 soldiers will participate in UN peacekeeping operations in the South Sudan Mission on June 30. The duty lasts from July 1, 2023 to July 1, 2024.
At the incense offering ceremony, the soldiers promised to perform well 4 tasks including building a strong political hospital; completing the task of participating in UN peacekeeping activities for the term 2023-2024; contributing to spreading the image and quality of "Uncle Ho's army" to the international friends; ensuring good material and spiritual life for officials and employees.

Major General Tran Quoc Viet, Director of Military Hospital 175 delivered a speech, assigned the soldiers to do well in training, maintain strict implementation of regimes and rules, manage discipline, and strictly comply with the laws of Vietnam, the laws of the host country and the regulations of the United Nations. Soldiers must strive to commit no serious violations, ensuring absolute safety for people, vehicles, and equipment.

Major General Tran Quoc Viet encouraged the soldiers to organize cultural, artistic, and sports exchanges with officers and employees at the headquarters of the United Nations Peacekeeping Mission in South Sudan and units of other countries stationed in the mission, contributing to strengthening and consolidating the good cooperation and friendship among countries.
