Friendly sports events, volunteer medical examination and treatment, and Ao Dai Week are some specific activities in response to Youth Month and the founding day of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union.
Working in a multicultural environment at the United Nations mission, the activities of the Level-2 Field Hospital No. 4's youth union branch all integrate professional tasks with the promotion of traditions and images of Vietnamese culture, country, and people to international friends.
The field hospital was launched in November 2021, comprising 63 members. The Vietnamese delegation departed for the UN Interim Security Force for Abyei (UNISFA) on April 27, along with Military Engineering Unit No.1, to perform duties at the UN Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS).
Union members have participated in many exciting and practical activities such as friendly sports events; mass mobilization to help local women on the occasion of International Women's Day; voluntary medical examination and treatment at Bentiu General Hospital, Unity state; introducing cultural performances with Vietnamese cultural identity to the mission's staff; organizing Ao Dai Week to introduce the image of Vietnamese women to friends from other countries.

Various activities and initiatives are organized inside and outside the country to celebrate Vietnam's Youth Month. This annual festivity takes place in March to celebrate the founding of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union. The month-long event is dedicated to promoting and empowering the country's young people, who are considered the future of Vietnam. The goal of Youth Month is to encourage young people to engage in constructive activities, develop leadership skills, and contribute to the development of their communities and the nation as a whole. |
