Canadian naval officers visit disadvantaged kids in Da Nang

The visit was filled with smile, as the Canadian officers had chance to take part in various exchange activities with the kids, while the kids were excited to meet new foreign friends.
"It was a priceless experience to be welcomed to the school with open arms, and to be able to enjoy the children's company to the fullest. I will remember the experience in the years to come", said Lyne Laurendeau, a member of the crew.
During the gathering, the Canadian guests also provided the kids with gifts as a token of appreciation.
Her Majesty’s Canadian Ship (HMCS) Calgary is conducting a port visit in Da Nang, Vietnam from September 26- 30, 2018, with daily events scheduled to support the mission of building and re enforcing international relations./.
