Central Agencies bloc Party Congress to be held in mid-October

The 12^th Party Committee Congress of the Central Agencies bloc, tenure 2015-2020, is scheduled to be held from October 13^th-15^th, 2015 at the Hanoi International Convention Centre.

This was announced in a press conference held by the Central Agencies Bloc’s Party Executive Committee on September 29^th.

In his speech at the conference, Mr. Le Van Thai, Head of Commission for Organization of the bloc’s Party Executive Committee said that the bloc has 63 party committees, in which 34 were at upper grassroots levels, 29 at grassroots levels, with about 63,000 party members participating in activities in 5,245 party cells.

So far, all the 63 party committees have completed organizing their party congresses. The election results ensured the requirements on structure, age, female gender and the standard and renovation achieved during the past tenure.

The party congress will be attended by 300 official delegates, in which 46 delegates do not need election and the rest were elected from congresses from the 63 party committees.

A 55-member Party Executive Committee will be elected for the 2015-2020 tenure./.
