Corruption inspection to be carried out in 12 agencies in Quang Nam province
Phan Van Sau, Party Central Committee member and member of the central steering committee on corruption prevention, Government Inspector General, during a meeting with the central province of Quang Nam on September 19th on the inspection program, concluded that the steering committee would carry out inspection across 12 agencies in the province.
Accordingly, the working delegation led by Mr. Sau is to supervise the prosecution, investigation and judgement of serious corruption and economic cases that receive great attention from society; and inspect the implementation of the Politburo Directive 50-CT/TW on increasing the Party leadership over detecting and dealing with corruption cases.
After hearing a report by Phan Viet Cuong, Party Central Committee member and Standing Deputy Secretary of the Quang Nam provincial Party Committee, on the results of inspection over the prosecution, investigation and judgement of serious corruption and economic cases, Mr. Sau recognised the results achieved, and noted some weaknesses which need correcting in the future.
He stressed that to increase the quality of inspection work, serious and responsible preparations, as well as strict coordination among agencies, were needed. Therefore, he urged the provincial Party Committee to ask agencies to prepare sufficient documents and profiles as requested./.
