Election of Deputy Secretary of HCM city Party Committee receives Politburo’s nod
On May 25th, the Ho Chi Minh city Party Committee organized a ceremony to announce and present the Politburo’s decision approving the office of Deputy Secretary of the city Party Committee (tenure 2015-2020).

Specifically, the Politburo gave the nod to Ms. Vo Thi Dung, Member of the city Party Committee Standing Board and Head of the city Party Committee Commission for Organization, as Deputy Secretary of the city Party Committee.
Earlier, the fifth session of the city Party Executive Committee (term 10) elected Ms. Vo Thi Dung to the position.
Ms. Vo Thi Dung was born in 1960 in Ho Chi Minh city. She graduated in Economics and Law and underwent senior political training. During her assignment, she had been a member of the city Party Committee, Standing Deputy Chairwoman of the Ho Chi Minh city Fatherland Front Committee, member of the city Party Committee Standing Board, Chairwoman of the Ho Chi Minh city Fatherland Front Committee and Head of the city Party Committee Commission for Organization.
On this occasion, the city Party Committee also presented the Secretariat’s decision appointing the office of Member of the city Party Executive Committee (tenure 2015-2020) to Mr. Le Truong Hai Hieu, Deputy Secretary of the District 12 Party Committee and Chairman of the district People’s Committee./.
