First wax statue museum of celebrities opens in HCM City
More than 100 wax statues of Vietnamese celebrities are on display at the Hoa Binh Theatre in Ho Chi Minh City from April 11th.

The celebrities are famous artists in various aspects, including Professor Tran Van Khe, People’s Artists Huynh Nga and Hong Van, and singer Dam Vinh Hung.
The museum includes a place to display photographs, pictures and documents about Vietnamese theatre.
“We have invested more than VND 35 billion (USD 1.5 million) to build the museum. More models will be added,” said Thai Ngoc Binh, a member of the Vietnamese Wax Model Company, and owner of the museum.
According to Mr. Binh, proceeds from ticket sales will be spent on helping poor artists in HCM City and southern provinces.
The museum is located on the first floor at Hoa Binh Theatre (240 Ba Thang Hai Street, District 10)./.
