On the morning of April 17 at the Bowling Center, Royal City (Hanoi), the sport delegation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam together with the embassies of ASEAN countries in Hanoi had sports exchanges to celebrate International Labor Day on May
Participants in this special sport exchanges aim to strengthen further connect culture and sports of countries in the region.
The bowlers competing in the tournament include Pengiran Haji Sahari bin Pengiran Haji Salleh of the Brunei Ambassador to Vietnam; Denny Abdi of the Indonesian Ambassador to Vietnam; Neermal Shunmugam - Malaysian Chargé d'Affaires of the Malaysian Ambassador to Vietnam, officials from the Philippines' Ambassador to Vietnam.
Joining them are family members as well as the officials of the embassies in Hanoi.
Representatives from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam were Mr. La Viet Ha, Deputy Director of the Department of State Protocol and officials from the following units: Department of State Protocol, Department of Southeast Asia-South Asia-South Pacific, Department of Northeast Asia and the ASEAN Department.

To the participants, the bowling tournament program is an opportunity for ASEAN officials, civil servants, and diplomats to meet, exchange, exchange, learn experiences, strengthen solidarity and mutual understanding so that they can actively coordinate with each other. As a result, they can improve the quality of work to jointly build ASEAN into a solid, developed and strong unit.

This bowling exchange program contributes to enhancing understanding and cohesion between officials of ASEAN embassies, especially after nearly two years of having to limit many exchanges and meetings due to the impact of the pandemic. The event was also a good opportunity to exchange and promote mutual understanding between related units.
