The tour lured the participation of 1,596 athletes from 92 nations/territories, playing under the Swiss system, 11 games for male and 9 games for female. Each player has a maximum 90 minutes for 40 moves and additional 30 minutes to finish the game. Each successful move has 30 second plus.
They competed for standard category in the U8, U10, U12, U14, U16 and U18 age-group./.
