(VNF) - Vietnam and the Netherlands celebrate festive days together! April 27th is the national day of the Netherlands - King’s Day, while Vietnam celebrates liberation of South Vietnam and national reunification on April 30th.

Jointly facilitated by the Hanoi city People’s Committee, the Netherlands Embassy in Hanoi and state-of-the-art technology by Philips Lighting it serves as a lively proof of friendship and cooperation between the two nations.

As delta countries, Vietnam and the Netherlands face similar challenges regarding water management, climate change and energy.

Since 2010, the two sides have been closely cooperating under a strategic partnership agreement on water management and climate change adaptation, which focuses on sharing expertise on water treatment and flood protection in the Red river and Mekong river deltas./.
