Hanoi, Fukuoka (Japan) marks 10 year of cooperation
(VNF) – On occasion of the 45th anniversary of Vietnam – Japan diplomatic relations and 10th anniversary of Hanoi city and Fukuoka province, a delegation from Fukuoka has been visiting Vietnam since June 26.

The Japanese delegates are led by Fukuoka province’ governor, Ogawa Hiroshi and Chairman of Fukuoka Prefectural Assembly, Jungo Inoue.
As part of the visit, the delegates came to extend greeting to Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc and Vice President Dang Thi Ngoc Thinh and Secretary of the city’s Party, Hoang Trung Hai.
During the exchange, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed and a conference on Hanoi – Fukuoka cooperation in agriculture was held.
At a reception on June 27 for Governor of Fukuoka, Hiroshi Ogawa, Vice Chairman of the municipal People’s Committee, Ngo Van Quy laid stress on the fruitful cooperation between the two sides in environment, education-training, culture and investment in the past 10 years.
Since the first MoU was signed in 2008, the ties between Fukuoka province and Hanoi has been strengthened via various cooperation activities in the field of trade, investment, environment, education-training, culture.
Currently, Fukuoka is the third largest trade partner of Hanoi./.
