The first Italy-ASEAN Week will take place in Hanoi from November 17th-27th, with a string of interesting activities expected to be held.

Hanoi to host first-ever Italy-ASEAN Week

The program will showcase in full spectrum the best of the Italian lifestyle to bring Italy closer than ever to the Vietnamese public.

Specifically, on November 18th-19th, an “Italy road” will be formed, starting from Ly Thai To Statue to several places significant to the country’s culture in Hanoi’s centre, including such fashion stores as Max Mara, Moschino and Valentino.

On November 21st, the Italy Embassy and the Ministry of Science and Technology will hold a conference to introduce important contents of bilateral cooperation projects.

Meanwhile, a workshop aiming to promote Italian language in the ASEAN bloc will be organised by the Hanoi University and the University for Foreigners of Perugia on November 23rd.

On this occasion, Italy’s young and talent pianist Nazareno Ferruggio will duet with Vietnamese pianist Pham Quynh Trang to celebrate also from a musical standpoint the traditional friendship between two countries.

Each Italian Embassy operating in a ASEAN country will also celebrate the event from November 20th-26th./.
