Vietnamese Ambassador to Iran Luong Quoc Huy has affirmed that tourism is a potential cooperation area between the two countries, pledging to facilitate the connectivity between their travel firms.

The Paris Peace Accords on ending the war and restoring peace in Vietnam is a milestone in Vietnamese diplomacy and our nation's history of struggle for independence, freedom, peace and reunification. People-to-people diplomacy has made an important contribution to that success.

"Vietnam's election to the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC) for the term 2023-2025, after the end of its term as a non-permanent member of the UN Security Council (term 2020-2022) shows the increasing position and prestige of Vietnam in the international arena," said Uch Leang, deputy head of the Department of Asian, African and Middle Eastern Studies under the Royal Academy of Cambodia (RAC)’s Institute of International Relations.

"In 2023, Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations (VUFO) aims to improve the effectiveness of people-to-people diplomacy activities to achieve the country's socio-economic development goals," said VUFO President Nguyen Phuong Nga at a meeting with officers and staff at the beginning of the Lunar New Year 2023 on January 27, in Hanoi.
