The Embassy of Israel in Vietnam hosted the 2019 Children’s Festival on the occasion of the month of action for children on June 2.

Israel Children’s Festival 2019

Vietnam’s June has been chosen the month of action for children for more than 20 years. As part of this spirit, the Embassy of Israel held for the first time a Children’s Festival at the Hanoi Children Palace, aiming to bring in a playground for kid exchange and study with Israeli and Vietnamese cultural theme.

The festival let children and their parents experience innovation space of STEM – an education method well-known universally, including in Israel – through robots, assembling games, smart house, turning kids into innovators by modern equipments.

Israeli cuisine, art and craft, Israeli story reading alongside interactive play attached children closer to the Israeli culture. Traditional Vietnamese games were also part of the cross-cultural capacity of the festival.

In Vietnam, the 2019 Children’s Festival helped strengthening the cultural bridge between the people in Vietnam and the people in Israel in general, and between children of Vietnam and of Israel in specific./.
