Accordingly, the members will be responsible for carrying out projects on community development, including building rural roads, supporting economic development, and improving the facilities for cultural, educational and medical development.
According to Chang Jae Yun, KOICA Director in Vietnam, the program aims to support Lao Cai province’s sustainable poverty reduction by building new style rural areas based on a model in the Republic of Korea.
The program, with non-refundable capital from the Korean Government, will also increase the quality of health workers at the provincial, district and communal levels, thus contributing to improving the living quality of residents in disadvantaged regions./.
