Kon Tum supports Rattanakiri province (Cambodia) in building healthcare, education facilities
According to the Voice of Vietnam (VOV), the first package (VND 3 billion) will be used by the authorities of Rattanakiri province to build facilities and infrastructures for local health care or education sector.
Meanwhile, the second package (VND 1 billion) was provided to the Vietnamese Cambodian association, and will be used to build 2 classrooms to teach Vietnamese language to children of the community.

Currently, 41 children from grade 1 to grade 4 in Ban Lung City of Rattanakiri are picking up Vietnamese. Their trainers are from Kon Tum province, and have been there since January 2016.
Since 2012, Kon Tum has donated more than VND8 billion to Rattanakiri to support the province in building a Vietnam-Cambodia friendship monument, helped the province establish a vocational school, offered gifts and free medical check-ups to people living along border areas.
On the occasion, Kon Tum and Rattanakiri province jointly organized an arts performance to mark the 50th anniversary of the two countries’ diplomatic ties and the Vietnam-Cambodia Friendship Year 2017 in Ban Lung city./.
