The 13^th Lai Chau provincial Party Committee Congress, tenure 2015-2020, will be held from October 13^th to 15^th, with the participation of 300 official delegates.

Of these, 248 delegates were voted in party congresses at the upper grassroots level and 52 delegates do not need election.

The congress will focus on intensifying the leadership capacity of party organizations, promoting solidarity of ethnic groups, intensifying the development of agriculture and countryside, improving the quality of human resources and ensuring national defense-security.

Lai Chau city ready for the party congress

The prepared session will take place on October 13^th and the event will officially open in the morning of October 14^th.

Delegates at the congress will discuss and contribute ideas to draft documents of the 12^th National Party Congress, elect the Party Executive Committee for the 2015-2020 tenure and select representatives to attend the 12^th National Party Congress.

In the afternoon of October 14^th, the congress will vote Secretary, Deputy Secretaries, the provincial Party Committee’s Commission for Inspection and its Chairman.
