McDonald’s opens first outlet in Hanoi
The world’s leading food service retailer McDonald’s has officially opened its first restaurant at 2 Hang Bai Street, Hanoi, marking its first foray into the northern market three years after opening its first restaurant in Ho Chi Minh City.

Following its success around the globe and Ho Chi Minh City, McDonald's is confident to bring Hanoian customers the delicious meals that made it the world's leading fast food brand. Besides, McDonald’s affirms to provide customers with global-standard service provided by professional and friendly employees. Furthermore, McDonald’s affirms to join community activities to exert a positive social impact.
“McDonald’s is willing to bring customers in Hanoi its traditional dishes like the Big Mac, cheeseburger, chicken McNuggets and French fries, at the quality offered by McDonald’s restaurants around the world. The Hanoi opening is part of McDonald’s strategy to expand operations across the country to meet the increasing customer demand,” said Nguyen Huy Thinh, managing director of McDonald’s Vietnam.
