Meaningful Mid-Autumn Festival with poor children in Thanh Loi school
(VNF) - In the celebratory atmosphere of Mid- Autumn Festival, Thoi Dai (Vietnam Times) Newspaper and benefactors brought gifts to poor students in Thanh Loi primary school (Ben Luc district, Long An province) on September 12th.

Accordingly, 100 Mid-Autumn gifts, each worth VND250,000 (USD12), consisting of moon cakes, lanterns, books and milks, and worth VND30 million (USD1,351) in total were given as best wishes to poor students, who have recorded outstanding achievements in their academic results in Thanh Loi primary school so that they can enjoy a warm and happy full-moon festival.
Representative from Southern office of the Newspaper, Journalist Bao Lan, said, “This is an annual program organized by the Newspaper along with sponsors to donate gifts to poor children. And this is also the first time we visit students here and it is a joy to the Newspaper, for me personally, as well as benefactors. "
Co-sponsors with the Newspaper were Marketlink Media Company Lte, Bitexco Corporation, Viethome Real Estate JSC, and Vietnam Dairy Products JSC (Vinamilk).
On this occasion, on the behalf of these children, the Newspapers would like to thank the sponsors to bring a meaningful Mid-Autumn festival to poor children together.
Mr. Le Long Trieu – Principal of Thanh Loi primary school has also expressed his deep gratitude to Vietnam Times newspaper as well as benefactors, has organized the program, visited and presented gifts for students here.
