New anti-dumping tax to be imposed on imported steel products
The Minister of Industry and Trade has issued a decision on the results of the first review of the application of anti-dumping measures on cold-rolled stainless steel products imported from some manufacturers in China, Indonesia, Malaysia and Taiwan (China).

Accordingly, from May 14th, 2016 to October 6th, 2019, anti-dumping tax on foreign manufacturers or exporters will be adjusted compared to the period from October 5th, 2014 to May 13th, 2016.
Specifically, the tariff rate imposed on Chinese manufacturers will be raised to 17.4%-25.35% from the current rate of 4.64%-6.87%, while those on Indonesian manufacturers will increase to 13.3% from 3.07% and Malaysian manufacturers, to 10.71% from 9.55%.
Meanwhile, the tax rate on products imported from Taiwan remained stable at around 13.79%-37.29%./.
