New Horizons Montessori School raises over USD 1,000 for Operation Smile Vietnam

Recently, Operation Smile Vietnam received a donation of VND 24.8 million (USD 1,066) from the New Horizons Montessori School to support free surgeries for the children born with cleft deformity in Operation Smile’s upcoming mission.

New Horizons Montessori School raises over USD 1,000 for Operation Smile Vietnam

At the meeting on June 15, the teachers of the school presented Operation Smile Vietnam the donation.

The funds were raised from the kindness and contributions of the students and parents of New Horizons Montessori School in the Art Auction for Charity project - the Summer Concert & Graduation Ceremony in May.

The representatives of Operation Smile Vietnam expressed their great appreciation to the kind gesture from New Horizons Montessori School, teachers and staff and especially to the valuable contributions of the students and parents who have joined hands to raise funds to help the less fortunate.

On this special occasion, the elite student delegation of Operation Smile International also had the opportunity to meet and exchange ideas with the School staff to share more about activities at their Smile Clubs as well as listen to inspiring stories from the school.

Operation Smile Vietnam is a charity organization that provides free reconstructive surgeries to children born with facial deformities.

In nearly 30 years of operating in Vietnam, Operation Smile has transformed the lives of more than 40,000 children and teenagers by bringing back the smiles to their faces.

In 2018, the organization is targetting to bring 3,000 new smiles to Vietnamese children with facial deformities./.
