A North Korean delegation led by several Politburo members paid a visit to the World Heritage site of Ha Long Bay on Wednesday morning.

North Korean delegation visits Ha Long Bay

Leaders of Quang Ninh Province welcome a North Korean delegation to Ha Long Bay on February 27

Secretary of Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Van Doc, and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Nguyen Duc Long came to welcome the North Korean visitors at Paradise Tuan Chau Wharf.

This was one of the activities by the North Korean delegation who came on an official visit to Vietnam and to attend the Kim-Trump Summit.

Leaders of Quang Ninh Province expressed their honour to welcome the delegation and introduced the province.

After the Ha Long visit, the North Korean delegation left for Haiphong City at 1.30pm to visit the automobile, motorbike and smartphone plants of VinFast Company which is Vietnam's first fully-fledged car manufacturer.
