Over 200 wheelchairs for poor and disabled in Bac Ninh
The Bac Ninh Union of Friendship Organisations in collaboration with the Giving it Back to Kids (GIBTK), an U.S.-based non-profit organisation, provided over 230 wheelchairs to the local poor and disabled people in Bac Ninh province.

This is part of the efficient practices of of the People's Aid Coordinating Committee (PACCOM) under the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organisations (VUFO) to provide moving devices to the poor and disabled people to help ease difficulties in their work and study as well as stimulate efforts in integrating and striving for a better life.
Donors, representatives of PACCOM; leaders of Bac Ninh City, departments, districts and representatives of Bac Ninh’s people with disabilities attended the ceremony held on November 27 at Bac Ninh city.
The remaining wheelchairs will later be distributed to those with disadvantage in other districts.
Tran Van Tuy, Deputy Head of provincial Comission for Organization, thanked GIBTK, adding that that the program is meaningful and precious.
One wheelchair can lead to employment of one disabled person, and then improve the economic situation of the whole family. It can also give disabled person with education opportunity, increase literacy rates, and decrease the poverty in the long term, he added.
He also voiced his hope that the organization will continue to support disadvantaged people of Vietnam and Bac Ninh province in particular.
GIBTK is a non-profit corporation dedicated to helping kids achieve their maximum potential through medical care, education, nutrition and love. The organisation have been licensed to work in Vietnam for over 17 years and their administrative office has been operating in Da Nang since 2007./.
