Over 300 Korean firms seek Vietnamese suppliers
HCMC Department of Industry and Trade on December 10 said that it has been working with relevant agencies to assist over 300 South Korean businesses who are seeking support product suppliers in the Vietnamese market.
Mr. Nguyen Phuong Dong, Deputy director of the department, said that is the first time many Korean hi-end product manufacturers come to find Vietnamese suppliers.
To create advantageous conditions for Korean businesses and chances for Vietnamese firms to connect with hi-end product manufacturers, the department has organized the 1st Vietnam International Machinery Fair 2018 (VIMAF) and Vietnam Supporting Industry Fair (VSIF 2018) from December 12-14 at Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC).
The two events gather about 30 percent of Vietnamese support products, 30 percent of machine and equipment used in plants and electric equipment, 25 percent of metal products and metal processing solutions, 15 percent of solutions in automation, materials, industrial accessories and construction machines./.
