[Photo] Korea Game Week 2023 Introduces E-sports Culture to Vietnamese Youngsters
Taking place in Da Nang from Nov. 24 to 25, the Korea Game Week 2023 brought the latest gaming technologies from the Republic of Korea (RoK) and its culture to young people in the central province.
The event was co-organized by the RoK Embassy in Vietnam, the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), and the Vietnam - Korea University of Information and Communication Technology.

Speaking at the event, Associate Professor, Dr. Huynh Cong Phap, Principal of the Vietnam - Korea University of Information and Communication Technology, said that the university was honored to be the venue to host Korean Game Week 2023, which was held for the first time in Vietnam.
In its first time held in Vietnam, the Korea Game Week 2023 attracted a large number of young attendees.
"This is not only a great opportunity for students in the Central region to experience leading technologies in the RoK's gaming industry and gaming culture, but also for Korean businesses and Vietnamese organizations, businesses, and training facilities to discuss future cooperation opportunities, particularly in human resources training for the gaming industry," he said.
Vibrant activities were held in the framework of the event.
The event featured vibrant activities including a game programming and designing contest, an e-sport competition, talks with popular gamers, streamers, and influencers, an exhibition of works submitted to the Game Graphic Design Contest, cosplay performances, K-pop dance performances, quizzes about Korean culture, and an exhibition of the Korean game industry and Korean culture space.
