Vietnam Deploys Mass Evacuation Ahead of Yagi landfall
	Vietnamese Localities Intensify Emergency Response for Super Typhoon Yagi

On September 6, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh issued Official Dispatch No. 88/CD-TTg, directing ministries, sectors, and localities to prepare for storm No. 3 and subsequent floods. This marks the third dispatch sent to 25 northern provinces and 10 ministries and sectors, highlighting the importance of safeguarding the lives and property of the populace and the state during storm Yagi. The dispatch advises citizens to stay indoors during the storm and mandates that students be kept home to ensure their safety. Deputy Prime Ministers have been tasked with overseeing the implementation of these directives by the relevant ministries, sectors, and localities. The Government Office is responsible for updating the Prime Minister on urgent and emerging matters.

The National Committee for Incident and Disaster Response and Search and Rescue has reported that in response to storm No. 3, the army has deployed over 457,000 soldiers, militia, and reserve forces, along with more than 10,100 vehicles, which include over 400 specialized vehicles, and 6 aircraft.

The force will primarily be stationed in areas anticipated to be severely impacted by the storm, such as Quang Ninh, Hai Phong, Thai Binh, and other coastal provinces.
