The Politburo has issued Decision 2109-QDNS/TW on approving the Executive Committee and Standing Board as well as the positions of Secretary and Deputy Secretary of the Long An provincial Party Committee term X for the 2015-2020 tenure.

Accordingly, the Politburo approved the provincial Party Executive Committee which includes 54 members and the Standing Board which consists of 14 members.

Under the decision, Pham Van Ranh was approved to hold the position of the provincial Party Committee Secretary while Deputy Secretaries were approved to be assigned for Do Huu Lam and Tran Van Can.

Earlier, on October 16th, after 4 days of working, the 10th Long An provincial Party Congress for the 2015-2020 tenure elected a 54-member Party Executive Committee. During its first session, the Party Executive Committee elected a 14-member Standing Board. In addition, Pham Van Ranh was elected as Secretary of the provincial Party Committee while Do Huu Lam and Tran Van Can were elected as Deputy Secretaries./.
