The Ministry of Industry and Trade has directed the Bac Giang provincial People’s Committee to organize a meeting on June 17th to promote litchi consumption in Ho Chi Minh city, said Deputy Minister Do Thang Hai.

Promoting litchi consumption in southern hub

This was reported by Tien Phong online News on June 11th.

The ministry will associate with the Hanoi city People’s Committee and Bac Giang provincial People’s Committee to host Luc Ngan - Bac Giang Litchi Week in Hanoi in late June.

The events aim to actively seek stable and sustainable consumption markets for litchi.

Besides, the Ministry will also coordinate with the Lao Cai, Bac Giang, Hai Duong and Hung Yen provincial People’s Committees to organize meetings with Chinese traders to import fresh litchi from Vietnam./.
