Quang Ninh province plants over 6,000 hectares of forests
In realization of afforestation plan for 2015, the northern province of Quang Ninh has planted 6,060 hectares of concentrated forests, accounting for 46.1% of the plan, a year-on-year increase of 3.1%, the provincial Department of Forestry has reported.

Together with the provincial effort,, localities and enterprises have planted over 299,000 plants while sowing over 27 million seedlings to serve further afforestation.
This year, the province has earned nearly VND565 billion from the forestry sector, including exploitation from 91,280 cubic metres of wood, and 4,620 tons of pine resin./.
