Quang Ninh province prosecutes a woman for transporting nearly 2kg of illegal drugs
The Po Hen Border Post on April 6th initiated a criminal case against a woman caught for illegaly transporting 733.76 grams of methamphetamine and nearly 5,000 tablets of ecstasy and handed her and all the exhibits over to the Quang Ninh Police to deal with under the law.

At 5pm of April 3rd in Po Hen village, Hai Son commune, Mong Cai city, Quang Ninh province, the Po Hen Border Post and the Quang Ninh Provincial Border Post discovered and arrested Nguyen Thi Oanh, 24, from Phu Tho province’s Thanh Son district as she attempted to illegally transport drugs from China into Vietnam.
Through initial investigation, Oanh confessed that she was hired to transport the drugs from China into Vietnam by a Chinese female with a payment of VND15 million./.
